1.  Our visual “picture buttons”  (now used by most all large food retailers) are considered to be Augmented Reality (A.R.) - "the enhanced shopping experience" - enabling the consumer with easier & expanded selections - ultimately increasing profits for the food business!  (see the AR stats at smartsystemsnow.com)

2.. Our healthy smart feature is the ability of the system to calculate 12 different nutritional values as a salad is being ordered.  Please see our YouTube which only shows calories for now. It also shows the visual “picture buttons”

3.  Another feature (lacking in other systems) is the ability of our system to count dressings (or sauces). Our system knows how many free dressings are to be included, depending on size of the order. It also allows the consumer to mix and a match dressings, for an extra cost, of course.  It's also used  to limit toppings.
Added convenience to the consumer = greater profits for the food business!

4.  A smart feature, which simply clarifies the ordering process, is the “Comes With“ feature. Other systems require a   “no pepperoni“ check box to be selected for the kitchen to know the pepperoni, which may normally come with the meal, was not to be included.  (see an actual order below, # 12)
Visual “picture button"
The “picture buttons” also eliminate the need for traditional check boxes, which are used to  indicate when a consumer wants "extra” of a particular ingredient.  Simply clicking (or touching) the smart feature item, circles the item in bold red telling the kitchen to add extra.

5. The multilingual feature can also be set to any language even for the kitchen help. Clicking this button., back-and-forth, can even help workers learn the language.

6. The “like” feature, when clicked (or touched) allows the “harvesting“ of email addresses and would be used for future, direct marketing of the food category that the consumer “liked“ (ordering was not necessary).

7. The zoom feature (4 arrows) can be selected during a food order to start a "liteBox slideshow" of all meals in that particular category.

Partial view of the "liteBox Slideshow"
9.  It should be noted that the ability to not only create whole new common meals  with various sizes & prices, but also "Package Deal" groupings which can produce additional income streams where new meal ideas can also be created, such as custom nachos, omelettes, even soups. The sky's the limit!
10.  The most exciting smart feature is our smartBUTTON© (patent pending).  Specials of the day or week can be created by the restaurant management from anywhere in the world via secure username/password & placed onto their website. The most important feature is the ability to "build" a website smartBUTTON© to "sell off" perfectly fine foods that will soon expire. Included with the button creation are “how to prepare or freeze” instructions, pictures, a disclaimer & special pricing typically at a discount to “liquidate” foods that may soon expire. It is also known as the "Food Waste Prevention Button".
This is 1 of several technologies we presented to CT FoodShare, Congressman Larson & Senator Chris Murphy this year - all promising help to reduce Food Insecurity.  Our
Farm2Table system has been fully accepted in Haiti & our "Web Tech" education curriculum (developed,in part with Mr. Joe Ercolano, past CT SBDC Director) has been accepted at the Univerity of Fondwa (UNIF) in Haiti. "Web Tech" education is being proposed here as an important "empowerment" for all US small businesses.  (see Small Business Stats below)
8.  An important feature of the content management/dashboard is the ability to zero out of quantity so that “Out of Stock… Check Back Later" is displayed not allowing that food item to be ordered.
Content Management/Dashboard:
(The past CT Chief Manufacturing Officer (Mr, Paul Lavoie) here in CT recently designated our company to be a manufacturing operation of the modern day cash register. see Shopping Cart, below )

11. Save Ur Favorite Order & Share:
Presently being tested, primitive AI/Automation technology is built in to enable a consumer to save all selections of an order, so that the order can be further customized if needed.  The live order can then be shared with others who will recieve it as a complete, "ready to order" meal, with the ability to customize further, of course.
Note:  For the salad order, pepperoni was removed (at no savings) & salami, mozzarella,& roasted peppers are normally included.  There is a "smart" setting for "seasoned" food preparers so that included ingredients need not be printed at the kitchen.  Not only does the consumer see their entire order in detail, they will receive the exact order by text or email & the order will print in the kitchen (w/o prices) in less than 5 secongs - 5G network.
smartBUTTON©
Described below are 11 extensively tested “smart“ features that can truly empower small businesses, especially restaurants, diners, food trucks, grocers, and farms.   The 12th feature, “Save & Share Your Favorite Order” is still being tested will be released very soon. Several AI features are "built in" & ready to go.   All features are part of our online ordering / e-Commerce technology that can connect virtually any resource with the consumer.    Please see smartsystemsnow.com for the extraordinary market values of e-Commerce. Upon request, we are conducting "live order" phone demonstrations where up to 5 custom meal orders are created and emailed back within minutes, including back to the kitchen.
